adidas may face tough competition from Li-Ning

Even after winning sponsorship of Olympics 2008 in China, adidas can't compete with Li-Ning.

Though the Li-Ning was disqualified from sponsorship bid, it can appear in the Olympics by signing contracts with athletes or national teams.

adidas has been present in Chinese markets since 1980, but till now, its sales are long way behind of Li-Ning's and Nike's.

In Chinese market, it is not easy for adidas to challenge famous local brand like Li-Ning.
