Arvind Mills to strengthen its US, Europe operations

Arvind Mills, a major integrated textile player in the world, plans to add value to its products with stronger design and marketing sections in the US and European markets.
Hiring of designers and marketing professionals are on the anvil in order to achieve this objective.
Arvind proposes to establish design studios having display and creative sections for its US and Europe markets.
Besides, adding value to products and roping in big names with good experience in the US and Europe would be advantageous to its product range, according to an executive of the company.
Designers are already working and full-time recruitments especially of Americans and European professionals who understand local markets better, are proceeding at present.
Tony Carnot who worked as Vice-President with US-based textile major, Swift Denims, has joined full-time with Arvind Mills Limited to promote its design section in the US.
Company exports nearly 40 percent of its share to the US market to branded players such as GAP and Levi's.
