Italian luggage firm Mandarina Duck has appointed Japanese fashion guru Yohji Yamamoto for a range of co-branded bags, travel cases and accessories in next Spring/Summer 2007.
Yohji Yamamoto is pioneer in his clothing designs, which are very much different than others.
He creates his collection by using voluminous deapes and glossy textures that naturally change with the figure's contours and movement.
Yohji Yamamoto transformed Japan into fashion capital with brands like Rei Kawakubo and Comme des Garçons brand, Kenzo Takada, Tsumori Chisato and Issey Miyake.
In 2003, Yohji Yamamoto had launched a Y-3 line an affordable brand and also collaborated with Gottex and adidas.
Luggage maker company, Mandarina Duck continues to be original and independent, but also modern, coming up with new products, distribution choices and communication tactics, year after year.
