Crocs Inc, pioneers of a new breed of comfort footwear, has introduced a new Mary Jane model to its line of shoes at the Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY) tradeshow in New York City.
Retailers can view the new model as well as Crocs' line-up of more than 14 shoe styles by visiting the Crocs booth #108 at the Pier 94 Convention Center June 6-8, 2006.
This new Crocs shoe model offers a classic Mary Jane style with a thin strap across the instep and a kitten heel, while retaining Crocs' signature comfort and unique design.
The Mary Jane features Croslite, the slip-resistant, non-marking, anti-microbial proprietary closed-cell resin from which all of Crocs shoes are constructed. Other features include ventilation holes in the toe and a heel strap, similar to the traditional Cayman model.
The functionality of Croslite combined with a classic Mary Jane design offers a new model that is sporty, yet supremely chic and feminine. The Mary Jane will be offered in seven vibrant colors, including burgundy, gold and army green. The Mary Jane will be available to retailers in fall 2006 in women's sizes 6-12.
"With the introduction of fashion-forward designs such as the Mary Jane, we are further expanding our footwear offerings to provide functional, comfortable footwear to consumers without compromising style," said Ron Snyder, CEO of Crocs. "Crocs footwear's unique blend of fashion and versatility appeals to consumers of all ages, style preferences and
