A court has delivered verdict in favour of sportswear giant, adidas on the issue of international tennis establishment using maximum permitted size of its "three stripes" logo on players' shirt sleeves.

Temporary injunction has been granted to adidas against the tennis authorities in the UK and United States, and the International Tennis Federation (ITF).

Court has ordered these organizations to remove dress rules imposed on adidas as the company alleged it is the victim of discrimination compared to other manufacturers.

On the other hand, ITF opined that they do not want to turn players into walking advertising hoardings by compromising with dress code.

ITF also stated that adidas' stripes are a 'manufacturer's identification' rather than the design effect.

adidas has said that this is biased decision as other manufacturers are not facing such restrictions.
