Pantaloon Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the board of the Company's subsidiary Company Indus-League Clothing Ltd has approved a joint venture with Lee Cooper International Ltd for setting up a 50 - 50 Joint Venture Company for:
Marketing and promotion of the 'Famous Basics' brand of eyewear and footwear; and
Distribution and retailing of products under the Lee Cooper brands in India on and after January 01, 2007 subject to necessary approvals.
