Sumitomo Shoji & Cross Plus float retail entity - Salott

Trade company Sumitomo Shoji and Cross Plus are going to partner up in creating a new retail company Salott. The company will focus on providing “New high quality style store” generally for the ladies, through their original brand Salott.

This new brand will be like other select shops with products bought from overseas and with collaboration products with famous brands. They will opening their first store in Minami-Aoyama, in September. Their aim is to open 10 stores in the next 3 years span and target sales to be at 3BJYen.

Atsuro Tayama, who had been a chief designer for Cacharel, launched his own collection in the Paris collection and worked with famous brands like O.Z.O.C, will design original products. The price range would be from 49,000JYen for dresses and 59,000JYen for jackets.

Combining Tayama's collection with some of the trendiest designers from all over the world, they will complete the store. The listed brands they are going to hold are Stella McCartney, Menichetti, Manolo Blahnk, Moncler, Veronique Branquinho, Celine, not yet in Japan brand like Grimaldi Giardina, and fragrance brands like Detaille.

The store will be about 245sqmeters, and with different rooms with concepts of present, past and the future. The planned opening date is September 9th.
