Danier Leather provides class action matter update

Leading integrated designer, manufacturer and retailer Danier Leather Inc on thursday June 22, 2006 at 9:45 a.m. the Supreme Court of Canada will release its decision on whether Leave to Appeal has been granted or denied in the Kerr v. Danier class action matter.
Since the decision will be released during Toronto Stock Exchange trading hours, Danier will request that trading in Danier's shares be halted on Thursday morning until Danier issues a press release announcing the result of the Supreme Court of Canada's decision.
