Feminine Segment - In the Grendha line of feminine sandals, the main launches with television commercials starting in August 2006 will be: Grendha Collection: With 4 casual products and a campaign featuring the actor Cauã Raymond.

The feminine segment for the second semester will also feature the launch of the Ilhabela branch, aimed at the adolescent sector, with a campaign with the singer Marjorie Estiano.
Grendene S/A, a fast-growing brand for women, is also presenting in the feminine segment a new Ipanema Gisele Bündchen Collection 2006. The launch will surpass previous launches and take place in a different way.
It has not just sought inspiration in the legends of Brazil's indigenous people but has also adopted the cause of Kisêdjê Indians and is supporting the Y Ikatu Xingu project– "good water in the Xingu"- which is preserving the headwaters of the Xingu rivers and the forests which protect the waters.
The magic of the legends and the customs of the Kisêdjê will be present in the spirit of the 2006 line.
Synthetic footwear manufacturer Grendene has a domestic market share of approximately 19% and was responsible for 15% of the volume of Brazilian footwear exports in 2005.
