The fashion format for kids of the fashion retailer Inditex Group, which operates in Spain and Portugal under the brand name Kiddy's Class, launched in Karditsa its first store in Greece.
In said country as well as in the rest of the new international markets that the format will enter, it shall expand under the brand name Skhuaban.
The store of Karditsa has a sales area of 200 m², and is located on the main shopping street of the city.
Kiddy's Class launches its stores in small and medium size cities and in the shopping areas of large cities where Zara can not be present, or where the fashion offer for kids of the current stores can be supplemented. The expansion of the brand outside Europe shall follow these same guidelines.
The opening in Greece means a step forward towards the international expansion of the chain, which is characteristic of all the formats of Inditex. This opening will be followed by the first Skhuaban store in Italy over the next months, and its entrance into the French market is expected in the short term. Kiddy's Class/ Skhuaban today have 160 outlets, 141 in Spain and 19 in Portugal.
This format will grow outside Spain and Portugal under the brand name Skhuaban, which is already present in different items of the collections of the format for the last seasons.
The first Kiddy's Class store was launched in Spain in 1991 and the figures generated by said stores were part of the Zara format.
