Wolverine World Wide names head of Hush Puppies US

Wolverine World Wide Inc, sneaker maker, has announced the appointment of James Zwiers to the position of President, Hush Puppies US Division.
Zwiers, age 38, was most recently General Counsel and Secretary of Wolverine World Wide. Jim has been with Wolverine for more than eight years and has garnered extensive experience in both domestic and international assignments including new business development, mergers and acquisitions, and establishing new brand license opportunities.
Commenting on this appointment, Skip Zimmerman, President of The Hush Puppies Company, stated, "I am pleased to announce this important new assignment, which will bring additional leadership and direction to the Hush Puppies US team, and further strengthen our overall global Hush Puppies organization. In Jim's time with the Company, he has done an exceptional job of forging business partnerships and supporting the Company's growth strategies."
