Olymp Bezner GmbH & Co KG remains committed to Germany as a business location and the positive business trend has allowed it to increase the number of jobs by another 24, making a total of 280 posts. This represents a rise of just under ten percent. At the same time, the company continues to guarantee annual training positions for young industrial clerks and trainees.
“Acquiring young technical staff is a worry for us, mind you, since the training in the textile sector in Germany and at the relevant universities is being cut back more and more,” Mark Bezner said.
The market-oriented Olymp initiative has proved of absolute value since the introduction of the trim slim-line shirt in autumn 2005. The trend towards a slimmer cut with suits, jackets and shirts is still current. It has followed this product innovation and has appealed to the quality-conscious, fashion-motivated target group with fresh designs and youthful colours. The demand for the slim-line products is likewise steadily on the increase, which is why there will also be a slimmer casual shirt in the 2006 winter collection, alongside the 'normal' style.
From 20 July 2006, Olymp will be presenting the latest trend-setting collections in business and leisure shirts, ties and casual wear in the new showroom in Hall 29 in Rheinmetall Allee 3 in Düsseldorf. Here, on over 450 square metres of floor space, it will be exhibiting its top-quality products throughout the fashion fairs, alongside such famous names from the clothing industry as the Brinkmann Group, Gerry Weber, Brax, the Ahlers Group, and Leithäuser/Benvenuto.
