Popular magazines are flooded with the leggings look that Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton and all the popular celebrities are wearing. Leggings look are mainly popular among the young girls, matching them with denim shorts, dresses and skirts.
The leggings have a sense of the rock taste matching with the rock t-shirt trends and at the same time matches with the feminine 80's look with the geometric printed dresses and big belts worn around the waist. The flexibility of styling with leggings is one key to the popularity.
Another trend is the knee high socks. Young girls are wearing knee-high socks with shorts and skirts bringing a somewhat nostalgic look of private school girls. Reasons for wearing socks in the summer with sandals are not only due to celebrities wearing the sandals but also for hygienic reasons. With the hot heat of the summer, many women worry about foot odor and by wearing socks, such problem can be avoided.
