Growing manpower demand in the textile sector has induced the design institute Pearl Academy of Fashion to open its institute in China and Sri Lanka in collaboration with textile companies.
A K G Nair, Group Director of Pearl Academy of Fashions said that the talks were on with textile companies to work out tie-ups.
Promoted by apparel group Pearl Global Ltd, the institute has branches in Dhaka and Sharjah.
Rs50 crore is to be spent on the development of infrastructure in its Noida and Jaipur institutes.
The institute is scheduled to open its new branch in Mumbai along with the existing ones in Chennai, Delhi, Jaipur and Ludhiana.
