The new trend is mostly amongst the young segment as the original followers of the necktie style, the business men, are in their Cool Biz campaign taking their ties off.
There was talk that the necktie makers are suffering due to the Cool Biz trend, but as stores are seeing great movement in ties to their surprise, it may not be that bad of a situation for them.
