The training programme for rural craftpersons would be of immense help in enhancing the quality level of products leading to rise in their income level.
This initiative of the Business School of Fashion to strengthen various self help groups in rural areas so as to develop them as dedicated production hubs.
The programme is joint endeavor of the Business School of Fashion and STAMBH, an NGO based in Delhi to develop training programme & courseware, tailor made to address specific needs of the producer groups.
Special arrangements have been made to give hands on training to the participants in vernacular.
The Business School of Fashion has engaged two highly qualified Faculty resource persons namely Ms Shameer Kaur and Ms Niyati Singh.
Ms Shameer Kaur is the Principal of ITC, Mohali & a textile designer by profession. Ms Niyati Singh is basically a Fashion Designer from NIFT, Gandhinagar and worked in the fashion industry at various capacities.
