Kao Corp to launch Asience brand series on Oct 7

Kao Corporation (President and CEO: Motoki Ozaki) will launch Asience Hair Beautifying Whip Cream and Hair Beautifying Spray, on October 7, 2006. The Asience brand series continues its quest to bring out inner Asian beauty.

These two new hair beautifying make up products are hair styling agents with hair care functions that make hair supple and more beautiful while still and in motion.

The hair styling market has recently emerged from a decline. A Kao survey found that within the last two to three years, beauty-conscious females, who are the target consumers of the Asience brand, have been using styling agents with higher frequency.

Responding to a common request among such women, that they would like to enjoy styling their hair while also caring for it, Kao developed the Asience Hair Beautifying series.

Hair Beautifying Whip Cream is a cream with micro-fine oil particles, which makes hair soft and manageable. This cream penetrates deep into hair ends, which can easily get dry and flared, keeping hair styled and manageable no matter how much you move.

Hair Beautifying Spray envelopes each hair fiber with its micro-fine oil mist. It makes each strand smooth and shiny and allows hair to sway in the wind.

In conjunction with Kao's launch of the Hair Beautifying series, Kao has renewed its “leave-in hair treatment” products, Asience Hair Beautifying Water and Asience Hair Beautifying Essence.

These products, formulated with a compound of new Oriental Beauty Essences for revitalizing, moisturizing, suppleness, and protection, have been renewed to make hair even more supple from the core.
