DUFRY offers new duty free facilities at Sharjah Airport

DUFRY, a popular retailer among international passengers, has recently opened a new airport duty free retail outlet in Sharjah International Airport, which has seen 2.3 million passengers in 2005.

Located in the new airport arrivals hall, the shop will provide arrival passengers a golden opportunity to use their full duty free allowance for shopping, with a retail space of 1100m2 for several product-category-wise departments.

Dufry Sharjah, which has been operating since 1988, offers a wide range of branded international products including perfumes, cosmetics, skincare, cigarettes, cigars, watches, jewellery, toys, consumer electronics and food, fashion & accessories, and destination merchandise.

The duty free outlet is also planning to extend its product variety to meet the projected increase of 35 percent in passenger traffic in line with the upcoming airport expansion and development.

DUFRY, which has over 380 shops worldwide, is popular among international passengers because it offers a versatile product range apart from keeping up with the changes in passenger trends & in profiles.
