In the next few weeks Kishore Biyani's Brand Factory, a mega discount store chain offering fashion brands at factory prices is going to hit the market.
Brand Factory would basically offer apparel and accessories, especially footwear, which will be the major revenue earners.
To start with, this large format store chain's national will roll out from Bangalore and Hyderabad. Brand Factory stores will measure from 60, 000 to 1 lakh sq ft each.
Most of the brands that are currently available in Pantaloon's 'Central' malls will feature in the new venture.
Brand Factory will operate as a strategic business unit (SBU) of Pantaloon Retail, which means it can have its own business strategy, objectives and competitors, which are different from those of the parent company.
