Timberland PRO is proud to work with FFA

The service events include:
-Gleaners Food Bank 1102 E 16th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202
Over 150 volunteers will work to fight hunger with the Commodity Supplementary Food Program by packing boxes with USDA food for senior citizens. Participation will also include an educational session about hunger and ways to fight it.
-Keep Indianapolis Beautiful -- Partners in Education – Irvington Charter School, 6705 Julian Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46219
-FFA volunteers will conduct hands-on activities, such as tree planting, building a butterfly garden and creating a vegetable garden, at a local Indianapolis charter school with the ultimate goal of creating a living laboratory and outdoor classroom.
-Indy Parks Kessler Beautification Project -- Kessler Park, 615 East Fall Creek Parkway Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46205
-Nearly 200 FFA members will perform various landscape activities ranging from tree planting to creating view sheds of natural and historic features in an effort to restore Kessler Park.
-Habitat for Humanity Build -- 1701, 1739, 1743 E Roosevelt Ave Indianapolis, IN 46218

Boone FFA members will lead a home building project, in which volunteers will help build four homes by engaging in hands-on activities such as installing siding, putting up porch posts and painting.
