Bombay Dyeing jumps on premium market bandwagon

Bombay Dyeing plans to discard its `discount' brand tag. To achieve this goal, the company has realized the need to develop a new retail scheme which will target the premium customer of the Society.

With the growing presence of rivals such as S Kumar's (Carmichael House) and Welspun, in the premium market, Bombay Dyeing is determined that its presence should be felt in this sector. Taking a stride in this direction, they have roped in designer Sabyasachi to unviel his high-end range of bed sheets and covers.

Bombay Dyeing would also broaden its present bed and bath collection and include new categories of home furnishings such as kitchen table linen, duvets and comforters.

The textile company has roped in John Abraham as the brand ambassador for their of suiting and shirting collection in order to enhance its charisma in market.
