Paul Smith has opened his new flagship shop located in Paris's “Rive Droite”.
“Since opening my first shop in Covent Garden, London in the 1980's, I have always loved combining the old and new, whether it was an old book I picked up in a street market or the latest camera found in Japan."
"In restoring 3 Faubourg St Honore, we have remained true to the building's architecture and history, and true to the character of Paul Smith. A shop filled with the mix of beautiful clothes and interesting 'things' that I have gathered throughout my travels.” Paul Smith
3 Rue Faubourg St Honore is the first Paul Smith shop in Paris to house a world of Paul Smith collections and designs. The 300 square metre shop is located in Paris' most prestigious shopping district.
The new shop contains a series of connecting rooms, each with its own personality to be discovered. The “Womens' Collection is housed in a delicate pale pink boudoir, whereas the Men's Collection, including suits, classic shirts and the Paul Smith mainline collection, can be found in the “Copper Room”.
The Copper Room then leads through to the “White Room” which contains the more contemporary collections like Paul Smith Jeans and Red Ear. The “curiosity shop” is comprised of interesting objects, lights, books and furniture, with “the bookshop” selling 1st edition books by English and French writers.
