Head quartered at Srilanka, the MAS Holdings, is one of the largest textiles and apparel group in South Asia.
Company operates through 30 factories in five countries including Sri Lanka, China, Indonesia, Mexico and India and has a turnover of US $700-million.
Its main forte are intimates, sports wear and leisure wear. It enjoys partnership with leading international brands like Victoria's Secrets, Triumph, GAP, Adidas and Nike.
MAS has penned an agreement with Andhra Pradesh government for setting up a textile SEZ in Nellore district.
With the new agreement, Nellore will acquire a 750-acre park and become a major apparel hub in the country with an investment of $200 million.
This project will employ around 75,000 people directly or indirectly. In the next five years, the park is expected to generate $500 million of export revenue.
