Kewal Kiran plans retailing of watches & fragrances

Observing the changing market trends and consumers' bent for branded lifestyle products, Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited has decided to offer a wide range of products to satisfy its customers demands.

The company, which manufactures the denim brand, Killer, is planning to expand its accessory line by tying up with an international watch brand and introducing fragrance in the Indian market. It is also exploring the possibility of joint ventures in the apparel segments.

Company has four menswear brands - Killer, Easies, Lawman and Integriti and is to introduce ladies wear under Killer and Easies through K-Lounge outlets. It is eyeing for expansion by foraying kids wear segment also.

The Killer Brand, contributes more than 50 percent of the company's revenue.

Kewal Kiran has 41 operational K-Lounge outlets and intends to open 140 mid and large size retail outlets by next year.

The company is planning to capture the market with aggressive retailing with a mix of mid and large size flagship stores. The mid-size stores will present its four parent brands along with non-competing lifestyle products and yet to be launched in-house brands.
