Though summer is long way away from this winter, designers are making preparations for fashion trends.
The colour palette of this Spring/Summer 2007 collection will display all the shade in metallic and pewter, creamy tones. The silver has replaced the dominance of gold this season. Glitzy bags and shoes in metallic shades are dominating the ramps.
This season miniskirt in sixties style of single shades is seen at Fendi, in floral bursts at Gucci and in Navaho prints at Anna Sui. At Prada, sumptuous silk tops and turbans and Luella Bartley's slogan t-shirts and bags in black are in demand.
Perspex heels are in fad this season. A large number of carved Perspex heels and wedges were presented on the ramp by the likes of Alexander McQueen, Pucci and Viktor and Rolf.
So this season's journey to the summer collection promises a lot of excitement and enthusiasm.
