Baleno (M) Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Baleno Holdings Ltd, which has fashion retail outlets in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore.
Malaysian Baleno has opened its fifth and the biggest outlet at the Penang's Queensbay Mall last month.
The other four outlets are at Mahkota Parade in Malacca, One Utama in Petaling Jaya, Johor Baru City Square and AEON Tebrau City.
The company has plans to increase its number of outlets up to 15 by 2008 and targets an annual sale of RM100million from these stores nationwide.
The in-base stores in Malaysia offered seven in-house brands, namely Baleno, Samuel & Kevin, I.P. Zone, Astro Boy, Magic Boz, ebase and ebase garcons and each brand targets a different set of buyers.
