16 Jan '07
1 min read
Puma plans to launch atleast 90-110 outlets by 2010 and also hope to rapidly open around 25 stores in 2007.
While rivals like
Nike
and
Adidas
ventured into India almost a decade ago, the German company entered in 2005.
The sportswear market, here, is valued at over Rs5 billion and Puma is eager to make up for the lost time.
The focus will be more on fashion oriented products that will be supported by aggressive campaigning.
