Giorgio Armani will arrive in Paris on January 21st for a series of events celebrating the opening of his new flagship Avenue Montaigne boutique and the launch of his new women's and men's skincare collections, culminating in the showing of his Spring Summer 2007 Giorgio Armani Privé couture collection at the Musée d'Art Moderne on the evening of Wednesday 24th January.

The celebrations will begin on Tuesday 23rd January, when Giorgio Armani hosts a champagne reception at his new Paris flagship Giorgio Armani boutique at 18, Avenue Montaigne.

The new boutique is situated in one of the most prestigious buildings on Avenue Montaigne, facing the Plaza Athenee hotel and a short distance from the designer's recently opened Giorgio Armani Privé client showroom at 2, Avenue Montaigne.

The new concept boutique especially conceived for this particular location covers 400 square meters on two floors and was designed by Giorgio Armani himself in collaboration with a team of in-house architects and the Silvestrin studio.

Giorgio Armani said, “Avenue Montaigne is now more than ever before seen to be one of the world's most prestigious high fashion retail destinations. The street also represents a great symbol of historic European architecture, which creates an atmosphere of classic sophistication and elegance.”

“In the design solution for my new boutique I wanted to provide a modern rendition of what is now a by-gone era with the sense of apersonal and intimate space where my collections are presented in wardrobes and trunks. The result is intimate and luxurious, a truly personalised experience that perfectly matches the history and grandeur of this world renowned Avenue.”
