Indian fashionistas have decided officially to ban painfully thin models at the ramp of Lakme Fashion Week.
The move was taken by the Lakme fashion advisory board and its jury comprising of choreographers and designers wholly in agreement for a variety of reasons.
Though Indian models were never too thin but an event as high profile as the Lakme Fashion Week, wanted to project a responsibility and a desirable, healthy image.
