The Jaeger London spring/summer 2007 Collection manages the impossible by being both radically contemporary and effortlessly classic. Hip and directional, this British collection boasts the finest of fabrics, covetable accessories and inspiring silhouettes for the season.

Jaeger's signature graphics, teamed with a nod to London's swinging 60s, have inspired the Collection's modishly black and white colour palette which, injected with dazzling day-glo brights, kick-start the new season. A yellow Op Art mac and Courreges-inspired double jersey jacket teamed with the skinniest of tailored pants is the hot silhouette for spring.

Sharp contrast-tipped tailoring and a pure cashmere tank with Mondrian intarsia carries on the graphic theme, while a dazzling sequin dress with neon pops of Caribbean pink and calypso yellow, teamed with the sublime white patent mini coat, is pure Warhol.

For a softer take on spring, gilded pleated dresses and sporty skirts in neutral shades are beautifully teamed with a moc croc belted jacket. Jaeger London's distinctive attention to detail with guipuretrimmed shell tops and a dress in perfectly pretty pastels are very much in evidence, while 50s inspired pencil skirts and pedal pushers take a distinctly Leslie Caron route.

Delicately delectable silk laser-cut dresses and tops in the most incredible shade of dusty pink, teamed over pedal pushers or the skinniest of jeans, are dazzlingly refreshing. Seersucker takesa safari influence in the form of a pair of slouchy shorts and jacket, inspired by a Young Jaeger archive piece from the 60s.
