Shopper's Stop Gross Total Retail turnover rises in Q3

In this quarter, Shoppers' Stop opened a new store in Lucknow, and also added stores to the Mothercare, Crossword and F&B formats taking the total number of stores / doors as on 31st December to: Shoppers' Stop (20), HomeStop(2), Mothercare (11) and F&B outlets (13), and Crossword Book Stores (41).
In November 2006, Shopper's Stop Ltd., in a joint venture with the leading international travel retailer, The Nuance Group AG, was awarded the concession to operate retail at both domestic and international terminals at the Greenfield Bangalore International airport.
During the quarter, Shopper's Stop Ltd was awarded the “ICAI award for excellence in Financial Reporting” for its annual report. The awardees were selected based on Accounting Practices adopted by the participating enterprises in the preparation of their Financial Statement.
The company also won the “Corporate Excellence Award” by the Amity International Business School.
