These great achievements have been the cornerstone of Argentina's new-found notoriety and respect in the basketball world. The Argentinean Men's Team has reached the final four in each of the last three world championships (the 2002 World Championship, the 2004 Olympic Games and the 2006 World Championship).
No other national teams have achieved such consistent results. Emanuel Ginobili of the San Antonio Spurs NBA team is the number one star in the Argentinean Men's Basketball Team and will proudly take to the court in “Li Ning” sportswear in the future.
