Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH), known for shelving luxury brands such as Fendi, Christian Dior, TAG Heuer and Dom Perignon, is planning for expansion in the booming Indian retail market.
The LVMH group is negotiating with three leading domestic companies, Reliance Retail, DLF and the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (R-ADAG) for partnerships.

The group has identified immense potential in the watches category. TAG Heuer, LVMH’s brand of luxury watches, currently has six outlets in India and have plans to increase the number up to 25-30 this year.
The group will also bring in its Sephora chain of perfumeries in India.
The Retail consultancy Technopark has expected the potential size of the luxury retail market may reach at Rs65,000 crore.
