WILLS LIFESTYLE INDIA FASHION WEEK announced the search for India's 'New Faces Going Places' – the All-India model auditions for fresh talent on the ramp.
The selected models will participate in the upcoming Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2007 which is being held in New Delhi from March 21 – 26, 2007.
This is one among the many new initiatives launched by the FDCI and WIFW in their commitment to always provide a platform for new talent to showcase itself.
For the auditions last August (WIFW Spring/Summer edition), the organisers received the highest ever number of entries and are sure of an even larger participation this time, given the spar of enquiries they have received to-date from aspiring models across the country.
Models that have previous experience on the catwalk, will also audition for the WILLS LIFESTYLE INDIA FASHION WEEK, on the recommendation by some of India's leading model coordinators and modeling agencies.
Announcing the WIFW A/W 2007 Model Auditions, Rathi Vinay Jha, Director General, FDCI, said, “Our aim is to support and sustain different stakeholders in the fashion industry and equip them to cope with the various roles and pressures of this exciting and ever changing business. These auditions are not just a preliminary part, but a strong driving force for WILLS LIFESTYLE INDIA FASHION WEEK in establishing tomorrow's faces and promoting new talent. I wish all the participants the very bestof luck.”
