Cherokee, a leading licensor and global brand management company, has announced that Tesco, the UK's biggest retailer, has exercised its option to extend their agreement for the Cherokee brand through to January 2011. International fashion retailer H&M is preparing its latest celebrity collection, designed by Madonna.
H&M's head of design, Margareta van den Bosch, has teamed up with Madonna to create a line of clothing and accessories to be known as the 'M by Madonna' fashion line. The collection is scheduled to arrive in all stores carrying the womenswear collection in March 2007.
Luxury goods brand Burberry has faced further protests regarding the closure of its Rhondda factory in Wales. On February 14, 2007, Valentines Day, protestors gathered outside Burberry stores in London, Paris, New York, Chicago and Las Vegas, giving cards reading "Stop Burberry breaking our hearts" to customers.
