TIMEX Watches Ltd is proud to announce its association with the XIth Great Indian Rock 2007 as Co-Sponsors of this highly popular youth event.
On the occasion, Timex also launched its “Heavy Metal collection” which was unveiled by Mr. Salil Sadanandan, Sr. Vice-President, Marketing & Sales, Timex Watches Ltd in the presence of the Norwegian Grammy Award winning rock group – Enslaved at a high energy performance at Turquoise Cottage. Mr. Sadanandan also presented Enslaved, the headlining band of GIR 2007, with watches from the “Heavy Metal collection”.
This collection comprises of 12 exciting styles for men in metal (stainless steel) and includes highly featured products like the Retrogrades, the Chronograph Alarm with Indiglo, the Expedition E-Compass and several other styles of Chronographs with Indiglo. The collection will be available at all Time Factory outlets and leading multi-brand watch stores across the country

The Great Indian Rock festival is an annual event to promote bands in the Indian rock scene and this year 12 bands are participating in this festival to showcase their talents. The process shall now enter its XI year and with a growing infrastructural network, the selected bands shall have the opportunity of making their music heard to a growing nationwide audience.
