The grand finale of the 3rd VIP Feelings Lingerie Designer Award 2007 was held on February 22nd 2007.
VIP Group sponsored award was to create more awareness amongst the young urban woman, and tap the huge pool of creative talent in the country.
The contest was open for students attending courses in textile and fashion designing from Indian institutes.
The contestants sent six design samples on the theme, Mystique of the Orient & Night Glamour, showcasing 3 designs in each of the theme.
The eminent panel of judges included were Meher Castellino, Fashion writer and Fashion Consultant, Sunil Pathare- VIP, Pravin Dabbas, actor and Photographer, Sanjitha Prasad, INT Buyer, Faculties and Merchandiser, Anshita Asnani eminent beach wear designer of BRAND CORAL and Ameet Gaurr, actor and model.
The Lingerie Designer Award was given to five deserving designers selected from 150 student participants from all over India.
The Winner took the Best Lingerie Designer Award and got a Trophy + Rs. 25,000/- , the Second prize was Rs 15,000/- + Trophy, and Third prize was 10,000/- + Trophy. The fourth and fifth Runners up took home Rs. 5,000/- in prize besides trophies and Certificates.
