Lakme Fashion Week, will see French Connection UK (FCUK), UK's first international brand take the runway at Lakme Fashion Week (LFW), 27 to 31st March 2007. French Connection (FCUK) participating by special invitation, will showcase their first collection of women & menswear for the Indian audiences. Lakme Fashion Week is scheduled at Mumbai's National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) from March 27th -31st, 07.
French Connection (FCUK) is slated to launch in India in April. Their collection at Lakme Fashion Week will be an interesting combination of women and menswear. The theme for women's wear will revolve around bright and prominent prints, with dresses that would flow in varying silhouettes and lengths. Retro sportswear will influence the menswear collection, striped polo shirts teamed with slim leg trousers. This season will also witness the classic FCUK denims in vintage washed denims in blues and greys.
