Jaeger and The London College of Fashion (LCF) have joined forces in a unique collaboration that will see the unveiling of a stunning new window scheme across all three London stores from Thursday 29th March 2007.
Hayley Bannister, LCF BA Fashion Illustration student, will have two illustrations launched as the backdrops to the main windows of all three London stores - Regent Street, Brompton Road and King's Road – at Jaeger's customer event on Thursday 29th March, where they will remain in situ for three weeks.
Hayley's designs have been selected by Jaeger's Design & Marketing teams who have been encouraged to forge relationships with the college's course students by LCF's BA Fashion Illustration course leader, Kim Dalziel, following Harold Tillman's (Jaeger's Chairman) ongoing sponsorship of LCF students in support of new creative talent.
Ali Hutchinson, BA Fashion Illustration course lecturer comments: "This has been such an inspiring experience for the students. It's given them an insight into the professional workings of a brand and Jaeger's Marketing team have given them such great feedback throughout the whole process - it's proved such a successful partnership. Hayley's done the most incredible job and she's overjoyed that her illustrations have been chosen."
All BA Fashion Illustration second year students were briefed on the brand's S/S 07 collections by Sandy Verdon, Jaeger's Design Director, and asked to submit illustrations toepitomize Jaeger's designs for the social season.
Belinda Earl, Jaeger's CEO comments: "We're delighted with the results of this collaboration with The London College of Fashion and to have the opportunity to showcase Hayley's work. Nurturing design talent and innovation is an integral part of the Jaeger brand."
