ESCADA & Italian shoe manufacturer seal partnership

ESCADA AG and the Italian company Vicini S.p.A. have concluded a strategic partnership for the production of shoes for the ESCADA Collection. In future Vicini will be responsible for the design and development of ESCADA shoes.
The manufacturer, specializing in shoes for the premium segment, will produce prototype products and hold responsibility for a part of the production itself. The creative management will be under the auspices of ESCADA's Creative Director Damiano Biella.
The various Italian manufacturers that had previously produced ESCADA shoes will continue to be part of the high-quality network of suppliers. To guarantee maximum quality and efficiency, the development and production process will be controlled by ESCADA's Florence-based center of competence EPA (ESCADA Production Accessories).
Vicini is the world's premier manufacturer for shoes in the luxury segment and belongs to the Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti. Parallel to its production lines, Giuseppe Zanotti Design and Vicini, the company manufactures shoes in license for Roberto Cavalli and Gianfranco Ferrè.
