REGULATIONS OF CONTEST LINEAPELLE announces its “YOUNG DESIGNERS” awards competition.
Competition categories: Participants are invited to develop projects of footwear that interpret the fashion trends for Spring-Summer 2008.
The contest is structured in three different sections:
1. FOOTWEAR: men's footwear,women's footwear and children's footwear; 2. LEATHER GOODS AND LEATHER OBJECTS: bags, objects of leather, furniture; 3. LEATHER GARMENTS: articles of clothing and accessories like gloves, hats, etc.;
Participants can compete in one section only,which needs to be indicated in the enrolment form.Participation procedure and required documentation.
Participants must present a previously unpublished project that meets the following requirements: • innovative elements in form,detailing and use of materials, • original and creative ideas.
Participants must develop a project inspired by cultural aspects such as figurative arts, literature, history, the traditions of specific geographic areas, etc.
The following documentation is required for admission:
• the enrolment form signed and filled out in its entirety; • authorisation to publishing, • a passport-size photo of the participant, • A4 panels with drawings illustrating the project, realised with any graphic and photography techniques, • explanatory text (in English) of the project,showing the research conducted,outlining the path from the theme inspiring the project to its completion.
