"I let my sub-conscious decide what I should do," he said. "I did not do any research; I let my mind be free. I started questioning everything around me. Like, why should cargo pants have only four or six pockets; why not 26? And I made a pair of pants with 26 pockets. And yeah it looks good and is wearable."
"The Debut is a unique platform that will promote young fashion talent," said Atul Chand, Vice President (Marketing), and ITC's Lifestyle Retailing.
"The very first edition of the contest received an overwhelming response with over 200 entries," he said.
'The Debut' was open to students of fashion institute NIFT across various disciplines of designs fashion, leather, textile, knitwear and accessories.
The initiative spanned across the seven centers of NIFT – New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Gandhinagar.
