He has always given his collections his distinct touches and this time too Siddhartha Tytler's collection titled “Mood Swings” proved that the designer has directed his creativity in the seasonable mode.
Divided into three totally different sections Siddhartha started with a pastel line of Jacket dresses draped dual tone corsets, large shawl collar jackets a dhoti pant and short cropped jacket and then moved onto a startling black line which started with a beautiful black self design dress followed by a corset dress with funnel sleeves teamed with churidars.
The final segment made up for the lack of colour in the first two sections of the collection as maroon turquoise, green gold and shades of the rainbow burst onto the ramp for skirts jackets, shirts corsets often teamed with churidars or leggings.
Harem cargo pants, kimono jackets, drawstring skirts the silhouettes swayed from east to west. The fabric base too swung with the moods of the collection with wool, chiffon, suede georgette adding diverse textures.
Men's wear was more casual with trousers having interesting buckle and belt detailing. From soft pastels to dark shades from sheers to more full bodied fabrics Siddhartha Tytler's mood swings will appeal to women whose fashion sense moves as fast as the wind.
