In January this year the organisers of DIFW conducted a talent search to encourage promising designers by providing them a cost-free boost to the international fashion ramps. The DIFW advisory board chose six young designers, to showcase their new collections of high-end pret-a-porter garments. “Fashion week is the best way to reach out to potential buyers as it takes a lot of time and effort to build your own brand”, said Maryam Badri, one of the winners. “This is an opportunity to showcase our designs to the right people.”
