It was a collection of contradictions on all fronts – whether it was fabric, styling, colour or patterns. Yet they all fell together in a perfect manner. ADnormal Abhishek Dutta's label presented its Autumn/Winter 2007 line which is not only global but for the masses, classes and the youth. So be ready for the unexpected!

Garments with zany attitude, lots of patchwork and embroidery and detailing that pushed the styling limits to the maximum for men's and women's wear.

Starting with a cotton pinafore Abhishek moved to tie-up harem Capris, pre-stitched embroidered sari with a choli that was embellished with leather strips, a high waist Capri romper, a pleated micro mini over pants, a rust embroidered bib on grey mini with large patch pockets, a Grecian rust draped maxi and ended the show with actress Ria Sen in a leather edged patchwork embroidered bridal sari.

The last piece will undoubtedly be aptly suited for the hip hop bride of the new millennium who throws conventions to the wind.

Men's wear was equally adventurous as patches and bits of fabrics livened up the jackets, shirts, trousers and blousons even bringing in a full green jacket with laser cut detailing.

Here was grunge fashion that had a lot of kitsch but it worked very well for Abhishek's collection created for the masses, classes and youth who now have a collection that will suit their sartorial requirements.
