Ten super talents dazzle at LFW

Ten talented young designers presented a spectacular show at the Aza Gen Next extravaganza at Lakme Fashion Week proving that the future of Indian fashion is safe in their creative hands.

NIMITA RATHOD - Lovely women's wear in a Chiaroscuro (light and shadow) theme featured orange, ivory, gold, silk, satin and velvet in textures for trendy smocks, dresses and jackets with just the right touch of embroidery and crinkling of fabrics.

DIGVIJAY SINGH - A well balanced mix of men's and women's wear with men's tweed jackets with stylish lapels three vent coats, an elegant long woolen patched overcoat along with women's wear in delicate leaf print silk for blouses, skirts and short jackets.

ANUJ SHARMA – Sunday market was the theme of the designer where deconstruction was the theme with shirt sleeves and collars appearing on women's wear as detailing and embellishments along with drapes and cowls for minis and halters.

VIVEK KUMAR -a sensational line of knit dresses, minis, and tunics many of them worn with rouched salwars that gave the creations a new direction in the knitted variety in shades of ivory, cream, beige with 3D flowers and textures

NITIN BAL CHAUHAN- it was the return of the Victorian era at the show as ruffled high collars pleated jackets, and capes, long draped gowns in tweeds, felt and leather in muted shades recreated the look of vintage glamour.

DEBARUN – Red was the prime colour with cream for opart prints for saris, with short jacket, drop waist dress, geometric print tunics, pinafore dress and long skirts with leather jackets for a stylish women's wear line.
