AYSAF, International Footwear Industry Suppliers Fair was held between 29 March – 1 April at Yesilköy - Istanbul Expo Center with the participation of 351 exhibitors, out of which 155 were from foreign countries. The foreign exhibitors were mainly from Italy, Germany and Spain.
AYSAF, which is organized by RDF Fuarcilik for more than 20 years, is considered as one of the largest footwear components fairs held in Europe. The fair attracted 14.382 professionals from 31 different countries in 4 days.
37th AYSAF was organized in 3 halls; at Hall 5 leather, artificial leather, accessories, fabrics, textile products, at Hall 6 and 7 soles, moulds, heels, machineries, chemicals was displayed. AYSAF, which had a strong promotion campaign both in Turkey and abroad, hosted components and leather companies from Italy, Spain, Taiwan, Syria and Egypt.
This season, AYSAF has hosted a very important activity. At a special area called “Trend Zone”, trends of both 2007 summer and 2007-2008 autumn-winter were displayed. The shoe manufacturers and had the opportunity to give fast and correct decisions after they see the Trend Zone.
Turkish Footwear Sector is in a progress, improves itself day by day and shows this to the whole world. This special activity was an important step in being a part of determining fashion.
