Luxottica announces audio webcast of Q1 2007 results

Luxottica Group S.p.A., the global leader in the eyewear sector, announced that its first quarter of 2007 results investor conference call will be available via audio webcast on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at 12:00 PM US ET (5:00 PM GMT, 6:00 PM CET).
The audio webcast will be available to the financial community and the media from Luxottica Group's corporate website. The audio webcast will be available for replay through midnight US PT on May 4, 2007.
Please note that a slide presentation will be available for download from Luxottica Group's investor relations corporate website at shortly before the start of the audio webcast. Following the end of the replay period, the slide presentation will continue to be available from the archives of the above - mentioned section.
Luxottica Group will report first quarter 2007 results on April 24, 2007, prior to the beginning of the investor conference call.
