The fashion retailer C&A Europe can look back on a very successful financial year 2006/2007.

The reflections of the Management Team are that this success has been driven through C&A's high product quality standards as well as its ability to effectively adapt its activities and collections to country-specific requirements throughout Europe.

"More than two million European customers per day experience C&A in their respective country as a relevant part of their national retail environment through a shopping experience and a collection which is attuned to their particular requirements", explained Andreas G. Seitz, member of the European Executive Board in reflecting upon the year's results (March 2006 until end February 2007).

Apart from the consistent and dynamic expansion of C&A's store network and the continuous modernization of existing stores, a consciously improved and revitalised "VALUE for Money" strategy has significantly contributed to the national success and relevance to the customer.

"We proved to be faster this year and more successful than our initial ambitious goals for 2006 had been planned", summarized Seitz.

Both turnover and market share development have clearly improved for C&A, the European Fashion Value Retailer with Head Offices in Brussels and Dusseldorf.

C&A Europe has increased Sales by 8.4 % from 5.21 billion to 5.65 billion euro during TY 2006.
