The US ready-wear company GAP has been suffering considerable drop in sales for past two years. In April alone the sales decreased 16 percent.

However, following the likes of C&A, H&M, GAP is also planning to enter Turkey, soon.

Experts are eagerly anticipating and predicting the strategies that GAP will implement in Turkish market so as to recover its declining sales.

GAP is also hoping that the successor to the CEO Paul Pressler, will bring aggressive policies and help company to rise to its earlier niche level. Pressler resigned in January 2007.
